Some lesser seen pics of manali :) We arrived in Manali. ( well , outskirts actually) Quiet little place on the slopes of some hill. A decent green view. Hot tea and good views. The reason why she is so happy are the apple trees in the background. Which she raided straightaway. :D yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwn ! a walk through woods for breakfast. Went for a drive. Stopped by a stream and really neat temple. Beautiful. On one of these drives, we saw rickety bridge across one. And promptly conquered it. Quality pic with wifey! how cool is that for a view .. an absolute treat for the average city bred. I discovered i had a hidden talent for holding umbrellas for people immersed in shopping . Strong river and high mountains... We saw a guy stuck in the middle of the raging river. Good thing about HP is that bulldozers are always handy. And there are outback roads through awesome scenery. More roadblocks and and more bulldozers.. all and all a memorable trip.
